Robert E. Moore of Caro, age 81, passed away on Monday, December 1, 2014 at his home, following a lingering illness. Bob was born June 19, 1933 in Fowlerville, Michigan, the son of the late Floyd and Eliza (Edwards) Moore.  He came to Caro from Livonia in 1965, after working for the Lincoln Mercury division of Ford Motor Company.  He was a graduate of Fowlerville High School and Michigan State University. He was united in marriage with the former Lois Wilcher on August 13, 1955 in Detroit, and she survives him.  For a short period of time, Bob managed his family’s auto dealership in Fowlerville after his father’s death.  In 1965, Bob and Bill Burton purchased the Ford Franchise in Caro and Bob would eventually become the owner and operator of the Ford-Lincoln-Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep-Ram dealership in Caro.  He greatly enjoyed his work and the many friends he made during his professional career. In his free time, Bob enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, puttering around the house, reading and traveling. He was a member of the Caro United Methodist Church, Caro Rotary Club. He will be missed.  We will always remember.  We will keep him and his family in our prayers.
